We could not have asked for a better venue at which to hold our wedding. Every part of the process, from reserving the date to the day of, was simple and as low-stress as possible. Bob, Barb, Julie, and family did everything to ensure our day went as smoothly as possible, and we are so grateful. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and the barn is stunning. Our entire experience at The Lavender Farm with Barb, Bob, and Julie was wonderful. I was thrilled when they had our wedding date available, almost like fate. The venue is rustic and charming, with the perfect touch of class. Any time I had a question leading up to our day, I would always have a quick response. You have to be prepared to book and organize all of your own needs (caterer, DJ, rentals, etc.), but you can turn the venue into any vision you have! Mine came together perfectly and I couldn't be any happier. We had Barb do the ceremony and she was lovely. Bob and Barb are kind and genuine, and will help make your day run smoothly in any way they can. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and had a great time as well. Thank you!!
We got married at the Lavender Farm on June 11th, 2022! We were so impressed by Barb, Bob & Julie and all of their hard work on our wedding. Throughout the time we spent planning, the Gillies family were nothing but accommodating and helpful. We loved being able to customize everything about our wedding, and the day ended up being absolutely perfect!
Julie (the venue coordinator) went above and beyond on wedding morning - We had a list of things to be done that day and were planning on sending my Dad to do a bunch of it, but by the time he got there, Julie had already done it! (Flawlessly, I might add)
We can't say enough good things about the property AND the people - we loved our time there and it was absolutely the perfect backdrop for our laid-back and fun wedding. Our photos turned out perfectly and we'll definitely be back to take some family photos in the future!
We had our Wedding here in Mid July. The venue is gorgeous and the family running the farm are wonderful people! Pricing was competitive, communication was excellent, and attention to details was spot on! Also, Barb, one of the owners, acted as our officiant. She did great. After canceling our original wedding plan due to covid, we found The Lavender Farm and booked our "plan B" wedding with them. Well I cannot stress enough about how amazing this new plan was. The venue is gorgeous, the owners/ staff are extremely helpful and our guests had a wonderful time. Barb officiated our ceremony and wrote a beautiful, sentimental and meaningful ceremony for us. She accommodated the addition of important cultural traditions and made a lasting impression on our guests. Bob is a gem and assisted with much of the set up and Julie, the on- site coordinator ensured a smooth day despite a last minute transition indoors due to rain. This family is so easy to work with and very accommodating to the customer needs. Can't thank them enough for helping us with the day of our dreams!

Jason and I were married at your beautiful venue on August 22nd this past summer. A few months have passed since that incredible day, and I just wanted to send a formal thank you to you all for the part you have played in it. From the first day we visited the venue back in the fall of last year, we fell in love with your special property and kind hearts. This year has been filled with so much unknown, and through it all you were so flexible and creative with how we could still make the day come together safely. Thank you for your patience with us throughout the months leading up to the date, we never felt pressured to make a decision or felt like we were made to "compromise" with our wedding. Julie, thank you for your organization, as you allowed us all to enjoy the day and know that the little details were being watched over carefully. Bob, thank you for being so caring towards my grandmother with driving her around in the golf cart so that she could feel like she was just as involved in the day's celebration. Thank you to you all for the love that is so evident in this property and in the way you provide for your clients. I truly cannot express how perfect our wedding day was because of your generosity and kindness. Bob & Barb are possibly the humblest, kindest and most creative small town folks we've ever met. They've turned their heritage barn into a wonderful wedding venue that has so much to offer. This beautiful, quaint lavender farm offers a sunset view over the farming fields out back, a picnic shelter in case it rains and a small shop where guests can browse. They only offer one wedding/event a weekend so you never feel rushed and can truly get your money's worth. There wasn't a thing that we didn't love. I hope in life, something brings us back to this special slice of heaven.

I would like to take a moment to let you know how much we enjoyed our daughters wedding this past Saturday. Your farm is so lovely inside and out! But I would mostly like to thank Bob. His care and willingness to help the wedding be a success was such a gift! He took away the stress and let us feel like for the day we were home. Being dairy farmers ourselves and country people we just felt like he was one of our neighbors!

When we first arrived at The Lavender Farm, we had the opportunity to meet Bob Gillies, the farm owner, and his wife, Barb. Bob was indispensable throughout this process. He was friendly, honest, answered our questions as best he could and even offered unexpected surprises to help make our day special. Bob brought some great suggestions to us as well.
We got married here at the Lavender Farm on June, 17, 2018. The owners are wonderful, friendly people. They are so helpful & genuine. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding. It turned out better than we could imagine! The barn was beautiful and magical and the option of getting married outdoors by all the lavender was a dream come true. There are endless options of photography for memorable pictures inside and outside. The Lavender Farm has everything you need and more to hold your wedding and reception!! What a beautiful venue. The expectations we had for our wedding day were far exceeded. Bob and Barb have created something special and were so willing to share it with us. My girlfriend loved it so much that she booked her wedding at The Lavender Farm for next year. We will definitely be back with our dancing shoes on.
